PETTERSENS KOLONIAL SOUND STUDIO

This new Recording Studio has been designed in a building steeped in history. The original use was a Kolonial Store more than 100 years ago, a modern day supermarket. The present owner Tom Pettersen, a musician himself, decided to bring a lifelong dream into reality and build a music sound studio. No expense has been spared with the equipment, fixtures and fittings. Many hours of research has gone into this. Much of the equipment was purchased from ‘Benum.as’ . They are a leading Scandinavian Company who supply equipment to all the TV stations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark and also supplied the sound equipment to the recently opened New Opera House in Oslo. The studio, although compact, prides itself in having natural light in all the working areas so giving a unique relaxed/airy working atmosphere. Situated in Honefoss, Norway this is the heart of a music and arts cultural area. The setting is just quite beautiful with the mountains, fjords and stunning scenery on the doorstep. Make your visit not only a working one but a holiday as well. It is an absolute must!! Easy 45 min access to/from Gardemoen International Airport and 1 hour to the capital city Oslo. With all this in mind the studio will be a big competitor to already established companies.
